A stateside hello

What’s this?  It’s been nearly two months since I’ve been back in the states?  Just to prove my physical presence, here are three sights you’ll only find in the United States:


Setting up camp on rough, tick-infested northern California coastland;


The (cheesy) glitz, the (faded) glamor, the (still less than five dollars, you heard me right sir, not a penny over five dollars) steak and egg breakfasts in Reno, Nevada;


And most importantly, the delicious homemade, handpicked strawberry-rhubarb pies, made by the master.

    The pie sounds great – but the plating technique would have Gordon Ramsay spitting tacks!
