Oh, wow! More beautiful Spanish architecture!
Right next to the Cathedral is Reales Alcázares de Sevilla, a residence for the royal family. So it goes without saying that it is incredibly huge and ornate. But, unlike the Cathedral, the Alcázar is done completely in the mudéjar style, which uses geometry to create beautiful patterns. There were so many different designs the photograph, and not only in Sevilla, but all over Andalucía (somehow I seem to forget how close Spain is to Arabic North Africa)! So hopefully you like Moorish art, too, because there’s plenty more to come!
