Chenonceau, pt.1

The second trip that all of the UW students took together (after a wonderful day spent in Saint-Malo and Mont-Saint-Michel two weeks earlier) was to le Château de Chenonceau, which I think is my favorite of the ones I’ve seen in person.  Being there brought back some nice memories, as it was one of the châteaux I had visited when I was sixteen and living with a French family for the summer…oh boy, sentimental stuff.

No trip with Anne-Marie and André would be complete without a bit of gratuitous fanciness.  But that’s fun every once and a while, and dining at L’Orangerie was certainly an experience.
